Born in Sandy Bay, Hobart. It’s many years since I’ve been in Tassie though – about time a paid a visit.

Looks like it’s not going to happen this year but NZ is definitely somewhere I’d like to explore one day.

I’ll have very special, fond memories of Barbados for the rest of my life. Many years ago I was lucky enough to spend two and a half weeks in Barbados playing cricket with a bunch of other Australians.

It was a privileged way to visit the island and for the entire stay we were made to feel very welcome by our hosts.

As a cricket lover, this was the chance of a lifetime!

Once upon a time I used to live and work in Surrey. Not a bad part of the world.

A bit crowded compared to Oz but I have to admit that most of the pubs were excellent. The one across the road from our flat wasn’t to my liking so I had to walk all of a hundred yards down the road to a pub I was very partial to!

Plenty of pleasant parts of the English countryside in Surrey too.

I lived there as a small boy and would love to go back one year in the spring time.

Our family has been visiting Crescent Head for a week every year for the last ten years.

This small town has a relaxed country lifestyle by the beach and is a wonderful place to unwind, especially for those who prefer not to stay at a resort.

Each time we leave we can’t wait until next year!

The beautiful Central Coast, an hour north of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia.

Beaches, inland waterways, relaxed lifestyle, minutes from the countryside, National Parks… the list goes on.

And I’m lucky enough to live here!

I have a rough plan to take the family to NZ in September 2006. This will depend on a number of factors but hopefully this dream comes true!
