I was an exchange student with AFS back in 1989-90. I was just out of high school and the world was new and exciting! I gew up a lot that year – I made some mistakes and did some things that I regret – but I also made some great friends, learned to speak French, traveled a lot and had a lot of fun!
Switzerland is an amazing place – so many different cultures, linguistical areas, historical places all within a stunningly beautiful tiny country.
Speaking of which, here’s the view from my friend’s new apartment on Lac Léman (Lake Geneva).
