    Kiyomizu Temple

    (in Japan > Honshu > Kinki > Kyōto-fu > Kyoto)

    Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Fantastic! Go in April and you will not regret it..  — 1 year ago

Kiyomizu dera temple is my best experience in Japan, hands down. Go in early April during the cherry blossom season, it was beau-ti-ful! That’s all I have to say, I’ll definitely vote it as one of the new 7 wonder of the world, www.new7wonders.com. :)

    Statue Of Liberty National Monument

    Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

Been to NY 3 weeks ago for 3 days, wanted to visit Statue of Liberty but a bit late to catch the ferry. I’ve been there 12 years ago, so it was fine for me to just see it from the dock… it felt like seeing a long time friend, images of my first visit just came back to me when I was there. Stayed at the dock for 30 minutes and just take in the view and appreciate that it’s there, especially after coming back from WTC site.

    Japan

    (in Asia)

    Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

10 days tour, had low expectation but absolutely enjoyed and loved it. Went from Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Nara, Himeiji, Hiroshima, Osaka, Tokyo. Best way to travel Japan, hands down go on your own and get the 7day JR Pass. Japan has so many different things from traditional temple to futuristic building, once you’re tired of the temples, you can do something else. Highly recommend it, go, it’s way cheaper than I’d expected, compared to Europe and UK.
