It is a very peculiar place, surreal, but don’t expect to make a day out of it. Also, unless you go in good weather, one look is enough, as it is very exposed.

On a school trip, probably about 13/14, so was not over impressed, but I’m sure I would appreciate it more today. Very wild scenery, and on a good day, awe inspiring.

the old city is beautiful, and the whole island is lovely. If you are over 30, visit San Antonio in daytime, its empty, as all the 18-30s are in bed, day after the night before, and its peaceful. Great boat trips out in the bay. Old city great at night for the beautiful people strutting their stuff.

Well worth the visit, especially when its dusk, as the lights over the city are spectacular, but make sure its not raining! first time i went up, couldn’t see much because of the rain. Don’t be put off by the queues, just get a hot dog, and take turns in the queue, it moves pretty quickly anyway. Dont buy the photos they take, very expensive and you can take your own anyway. Also, do go to the loo beforehand, as its a long time when you need to spend a penny, and they aint going to hurry up just for you.

Fantastic building, tourist bus stops right outside it, its free, its huge, and has some fabulous exhibits. Not just for tourists.
