So big, so much culture, so many shops … a day trip wasn’t enough!

I stayed near here on my first visit to France, a French Exchange trip at the tender age of 13. I had my first real French kiss somewhere near here. Ah, the memories. We did lots of walking and laughing I recall.

Popped in once on the way back to England from Brussels. Beautiful little town. Would love to pop back again!

There used to be a little Blues Bar near the main square … lots of vodka and wonderful American chaps. Also a little tattoo parlour … but this is going back a few years.

Just watch out for those blokes selling cheap and tacky souvenirs …

Attended the baptism of the best friend of my brother’s then girlfriend, the fist baptism to be held in the church on the main square since the fall of communism … a beautiful little town off the beaten track.
