Beautiful, accessible forests. Combines great hiking with very rewarding 360 degree panoramic views of the ocean from every summit.
Bar Harbor is a cute little town too.

This is a very impressive massive cavern. It’s done up for just about anyone who can walk to be able to appreciate the caves. There’s a little train car to the entrance and sidewalks throughout for a fully guided tour. It’s cool to be able to see caves that you’d otherwise not have access to.

I’d love to try and do some real caving someday. Something for 43thing I guess ;)

Old San Juan is a lot like any “old” city or old quarter you might find in many cities. Cute but not really worth a whole afternoon or anything.

To say the “museum” and the little movie they run are little bit of an anti-climax would be an understatement, but seeing the dish is incredible. The drive out there is scenic too as it’s out in the middle of some very hilly jungle. Driving the backroads of Puerto Rico is fun because it seems every road has a route number, with all the routes/intersections clearly labeled, which makes it easy enough to follow a road maps.

I stayed here for 5 days. It’s very rural; fun place with a surfer/local population. Good if you want to get away from everything for a while.

Laos is so beautiful. This little town is peaceful and perfect.
And the “Secret” waterfall is without a doubt the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen.

Nicest place I’ve ever been.

Don’t waste time here. It reminded us of what the Italy section of Disney World would be like. Spend your time in real cities.
