Acadia National Park, Maine
Beautiful
Beautiful, accessible forests. Combines great hiking with very rewarding 360 degree panoramic views of the ocean from every summit.
Bar Harbor is a cute little town too.

This is a very impressive massive cavern. It’s done up for just about anyone who can walk to be able to appreciate the caves. There’s a little train car to the entrance and sidewalks throughout for a fully guided tour. It’s cool to be able to see caves that you’d otherwise not have access to.
I’d love to try and do some real caving someday. Something for 43thing I guess ;)
over 5 years agoOld San Juan is a lot like any “old” city or old quarter you might find in many cities. Cute but not really worth a whole afternoon or anything.
