My dad was stationed here in the early ’80s, so I got to spend two years in Germany when I was a kid. I think it really started the wanderlust for me. We travelled to so many neighboring countries, we lived off post in a German apartment… I consider my time there one of the best times of my life. I went back as an adult (well, as a recent college grad, anyway) and fell in love all over again.
over 5 years agoI still can’t believe I lived in Korea for an entire year (courtesy of the U.S. Army) and never made it here. If/when I ever go back, I’m definitely going.
