1 week in Hanoi

So I just got back from Vietnam, and I really enjoyed it. It was pretty much what I expected (having heard a bunch of stories about it).

I was only able to stay one week, and that entire time was spent in Hanoi (but 2 days in Ha Long Bay). I think that may have been too much time, and I would have liked to have gone to Sapa and Ho Chi Minh City. Maybe next time.

Also, if anyone is looking for a hotel to stay in while in Hanoi, and you want to stay in the Old Quarter, I really recommend Van Xuan II hotel(not sure what #1 is like).

The service staff were amazing, and the quality and price of the rooms was great – www.vanxuanhotels.com. I just wanted to say that because the main guy at the check-in desk really went out of his way to make my time in Hanoi great.
