Irún, Guipúzcoa

Untitled

I ended up in Irun when I was with a group who thought they were going to San Sebastian. We stayed in Urdanibia (bufu) and we enjoyed the beach and being able to watch American TV shows in English for hours. Definitely not a must see, but a great place to relax in with a tropical feel.

Toledo, Toledo (Province)

Untitled

I had never been to such an old city before or a cathedral, it was absolutely magical. Next time I’m in Spain I will make it a point to at least spend a full day here if not a couple.

Segovia, Segovia (Province)

Untitled

Segovia was the second day trip I went on after Toledo and I was completely taken aback by the city. When you walk through it you can pretend you’re in another time save for the anachronistic graffiti. It was very strange to see graffiti and stencils (mostly of a political nature) adorning the stone walls. In the plaza there was a really cool graffiti art installation featuring the work of 8 different artists. The juxtaposition of the colorful modern art and the aqueduct was a sight to behold to be sure.
