After living outside the city my whole life, I finally went up to the top of the State Building (right after a job interview in Manhattan)! The city seems so small from up there… on an island, you’re surrounded by all the brown buildings and the hudson all around. It’s quite meditative & took my stress away… maybe I should have done it before the interview!
over 6 years agoI went on a fun, relaxing, and active spring break in 2005 with some friends. We rented out a condo and had a fantastic time. It is a beautiful place!
over 6 years agoEver since I was born, I have spent summers in the Thousand islands. My grandparents live on Wellesley Island in Thousand Island Park. It’s breathtaking. I used to work at the state park on the island. The best is sitting on the wrap-around porch watching thunderstorms over the river.
