I marched on Washington on April 25, 2004, and it was an incredible experience. It was a whirlwind trip, so I didn’t do much else except eat tapas and go to the botanical garden with a botanist friend. There is so much to do and see in DC, so I hope to go back and see some of them. I did see a Diego Rivera retrospective at the National Gallery, and if you like art, the NG is a great place to spend the afternoon.
over 6 years agoOkay, I’m biased because my hometown is in the metro area. But seriously, Toledo? Cincinnati? Cleveland? I think Columbus wins. My favorite places: The Wexner Center (on OSU’s campus), Larry’s, German Village, the Thurber House, art galleries in the Short North, COSI, and Half Price Books.
