Iligan, Lanao Del Norte

Untitled by jyaun

I went there a few years back to attend a wedding of my boyfriend’s sister. The place was still slow-paced I could barely see a taxi nor a commercial center..

We went to Timoga for swimming, and girl, the spring water was really ice-cold I had to keep on moving a lot so I won’t freeze!) We also visited the Maria Kristina Falls and the sight was actually breathtaking..

Malapascua, Cebu

Untitled by jyaun

I went there with my fiance some 3 years ago and I was surprised that the place looked like a little boracay (at least in shape! :) They got white sandy beaches but not quite well-maintained, I didn’t realize I was already swimming with a school of jelly fish! Food was excellent, most resorts served fresh catch..

Honda Bay, Palawan

If it’s your first time to visit this place, bring plenty of something to eat and don’t expect to see a 5-star-resort here because there’s nothing in it except for a long stretch of white beaches and a few sandbars..

I was imperessed with the the attitudes of the locals— they are so warm and friendly and welcoming, you won’t actually feel like you’re a “stranger!”

Camotes Island, Cebu

The place is a marvel! The long stretch of sugary-white sandy beaches in Santiago Bay (town of San Francisco) is to die for! :)

Camotes Island, Cebu

When going to Camotes Islands for a tour or vacation, make sure to get your return ticket once you arrived at the seaport, especially during peak seasons. Slow boats don’t follow regular schedules so you should be going to the pier rather early so you won’t miss the boat, or you’d be stucked in the island!
