San Francisco

Worth visiting!

I'd love to live there

The City is the only place in California that I think I’d really enjoy living.

Melbourne

Worth visiting!

First had sex here

That’s one reason I liked it. :)

I regret not seeing the manatees while I was there, though.

Missouri

Worth visiting!

Missouri is a beautiful state

I have family there, so I’ve been several times, and have driven through on several cross-country trips. Besides Kansas City and St. Louis, Columbia is a GREAT city, and the mountains and state parks are exceptional.

Ensenada

Worth visiting!

Want to go back

I went there twice in the late ‘80s with a high-school group. It was a lot of fun then, but I imagine it would be a BLAST now.

A nice place to visit

... but you wouldn’t want to live there.

Star Trek: The Experience

Worth visiting!

It was fun!

I haven’t been since 1999, but I really liked it at the time. I’ll have to go again next time I’m in Vegas.

Henderson

Not worth visiting!

Born and raised in Henderson

Henderson was great while growing up. I hiked the deserts, climbed the mountains, caught lizards and tarantulas and nearly died of heatstroke at least a dozen times.

Now, it’s an overdeveloped suburb. It’s part of the U.S.’s overdependence on oil and will die a miserable death when gas prices get too high.

The downward spiral: Gas prices skyrocket; Tourism dips; casinos close; unemployment gets high; people move away; housing busts; the half of the county supported by building new housing moves away; houses stand empty.

Another possibility is Water gets scarce and almost the same thing as above happens. Basically, once the self-propelling housing market hiccups, Vegas is going to bust. Big time.
