Having spent most of my years in Oregon I have found many sites and pleasures in the state that I consider treasures.
I attended Oregon State University and one of the hilites of my collegiates days was taking some of my fellow students, two expecially come to mind, one from Boston and one from New York on weekend tours of Oregon. They were amazed by what they saw, hot springs, snow caves, hidden waterfalls etc.
I could talk forever about Oregon and the many things to discover here.

I’d rather take another New Yorker on an Oregon tour :<)

I find myself in Powell’s quite often..several times a month. One of my favorite ways to traverse the store is to find one book title that is interesting to me..thru a web search or whatever…then once locating that book and with a quick perusal of the book, discover another book title or author mentioned or referred and then locate that book…I can often repeat this process jumping thru half a dozen book titles and wind up finding a great book that I would have never otherwise wound up with…Love the bookstore. Would go thru withdrawals if I moved away and did not have easy access to Powell’s.
