Didn’t get to see very much on a road trip to NM.

It’s 400 degrees there in July…

Went to visit a friend in January 2005 for the weekend… saw as much as possible and left feeling like a new person. Interesting lifestyles up in NoCal, very different from Los Angeles… I think it’s cause of the weather and the fact that LA is a slower-paced place.

Both the view from the visitors center (flat as far as the eye can see) and the darkness of the cave are enough to make me return.

Having been there twice, and heard different stories from my Aunt (who is now a retired docent from the Caverns) I felt I got a special glimpse of not only the cave throughout the years and prior to a “vistors center” but behind the scenes knowledge.

Visit the bookstore on the corner for some really good books, t-shirts and collectibles…

A great trip with my best friend. Exploring a new place for myself and scouting whether or not I would move there… still thinking, but I am sure it’s in the future.
