Ah, Peggy’s Cove! One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to, if not the THE most.
I love lighthouses and “the lighthouse in Peggy’s Cove” is essentially one of the most photographed and well know on the planet. It was a really good day for me when I visited on Remembrance Day (Nov. 11th 2005). It was a little cold, but I was so relaxed while there that it didn’t matter. I need to go back one day, hopefully during the the summer months. :)

I had moved to Halifax back in Sept. ‘05 and I absolutely loved it there. But sadly my stay there was short lived due to the fact that I was not able to find a job. I have great credentials, tons of working experience, but no luck, apparently!
So by mid-November I just about had it. With no more savings to speak of and already in debt over my head I had to make the decision to move back to Montreal.

Somewhere in the back of my mind there’s the thought of moving back there someday. I’ll just make sure I either have plenty of savings to last me a few months or have a job lined up before I go (and be out of debt to begin with).

I miss it there a lot. I especially miss the people I know there.
