It's a dry heat
I grew up in Phoenix, and would like to go back some day to visit my dear friend Shannon. We’ve been friends for about 30 years, despite long periods of silence. You know the kind of friend that you can call after 5 years apart and it’s like you just talked yesterday? We met in first grade. Her mom was our Bluebirds leader. Now we both have kids.
