I went here 5 years ago and it was the best vacation EVER!!! I wanted to live there. My Dad thought he was going to die soon and wanted one last Horah! with everyone he loves – Me my 2 sisters and each brought a friend, my Dad’s friend and his daughter all went. We tayed at Oasis Akumal (actually just South of Cancun) with this ‘all inclusive’ deal. I wouldn’t recomend any other way and no less than aa week. We snorkled on so many coasts, saw so many Beautiful things… Saw the beach where Corona Comercials are filmed and saw a turtle swimming around there! It was so Beautiful. We took a few tours…not traditional tours… We drove through the jungle (just on the other side of the street from our hotel) to this cave where we swam through an underground river… It was like flying! The water was so clear and ‘untouched’… Amazing! I rode a horse down the beach and it started to go int the water and we went for a swim! (I know… maybe that’s not so amazing to all of you equestrians, but I had never been on a horse before, except for ‘pony rides’ at local fairs when I was young.) This is my most memorable vacation in my life… It even outranks my first trip to Disneyland when I was 5!
