over 2 years agoThe best place to see the wall – as well as the beautiful scenery – is in Northumberland National Park near Once Brewed. Turn off at the visitor’s centre on B6318 and there will be a parking lot on your right. From there you can follow the wall as you hike up a crag. The view is amazing, the wall is preserved pretty well, and there’s a lovely lake right below the crag. I definitely recommend going here.
over 2 years agoIt’s a bit hard to get out to the temple, but it’s definitely worth it. Take the train from Victoria to Lingfield (about 50 minutes), then you can either walk to the temple (about an hour) or, if you plan ahead, arrange for a cab to pick you up. Don’t walk in the dark, though – the street’s a bit dangerous.
