Netherlands, Europe

I wanna go back.

Going to Japan has made me feel much more adventurous. My mom desperately wants to visit the Netherlands again, and I’m thinking of tagging along. Ooooh that would be awesome, perhaps this sping? I’m saving my money just in case.

North Carolina, United States

worth it, but not during a hurricane

I got evacuated on the third day of my vacation because of Ophelia. I was staying at a place oceanside on Holden Beach, I really like to be there off season, it is quiet, peaceful, and I prefer the beach when it isn’t very hot, the only risk of coming in September is that it is hurricane season. Oh, well. c’est la vie.

Japan, Asia

Lots of firsts

I am presently in Misawa, Japan, staying with my brother and his family on the AFB. So far I have been to the farmer’s market, bought a beautiful kimono, swam in the Pacific Ocean for the first time, had my first sushi, ate my first fried squid, been in a traditional Japanese house, and last night, felt my first earthquake!

There is much more that I will get to see and do here, since I still have 6 more days to experience Japan. It is beautiful here, lush and green and the weather has been lovely.
