Manila’s nightlife is underappreciated. Tapas, pizza, inihaw at 3 or 4 in the morning is not really that hard to find. Drinks are cheap. And then, of course, there is the Filipina. At once, edgy and traditional, a fine blend of Asian and Contintental.
over 7 years agoIf you ever wondered what Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok or Singapore must have been like in the 60’s and 70’s, go to Ho Chi Minh. This compact city is about to explode with economic growth. It has an edgy border town feel with a hint of new money coming in.
over 7 years agoCrazily enough, this is my favorite spot in the world’s most antiseptic city. Great brews & cool people at the Inn-Crowd and the Prince of Wales Pub.
