Great memories of my childhood take place on Bay Farm Island. More specifically around Victoria Bay (my old neighborhood). I wish all my friends were still there so I could go climb trees and play four square with them.

Great shops with trendy clothes and awesome night life. Sit on the patio at Café A Brasileira for slightly pricy refreshments. It is an ideal location for people watching.

Just a train ride and short bus trip from the metro. It is a huge stretch of beach with something for everyone. A little train can take to from one end to the ohter if you dont want to walk it.

The blue signs with white arrows mean that you CANNOT turn at the median break.

The plaza major is awesome in the evenings. In the summers there are international students everywhere ready to party. People singing, playing guitar, drinking, and having a great time. They clean the streets twice a day there. Its beautiful.

by a tapas bar there. They kept brining more and more food without our asking and charged us 50 eruos. Its the one with all the bull heads and bull fighting pictures on the walls. Beware of the illusion of free food.

I did too many drugs….

for a month and a half the summer before last. It is a beautiful city. Great public transportation! It reminded me of San Francisco… trollies, the bay, the climat, they even have a mini golden gate bridge. If you know spanish you can fake portuguese.
