I went to Broken Arrow, OK in 1988 with my softball team. We played in the National Championship and came in 3rd place. Not bad for a recreational team when every one else was a travel team.

The two things to do in Pomona are both at the LA fair grounds.

It is great to go in the fall to pick some apples and blueberries and get a pumpkin right of the vine. In Oak tree village there is a ton of stuff to do that anyone with kids will easily spend and entire day.

This is a great place to visit although there needs to be much more parking. It is fun to ride you bike along the boardwalk. My nephews and I love the pizza place so much that even during the winter we usually take a couple trips down to go to Perry’s.

My husband and I were taking a road trip in April and this was one of the places we passed thru. I was so sick becuase of the altitude and a sinus infection and the cold from the snow but I was still able to enjoy the beauty. Words can not describe how majestic the mountains and lake are. It is so much fun to also be in such a beautiful town and still enjoy the fun of the casinos.

Great outlet malls.

This is such a cute city, the old town has some great shops and art galleries right next to the beach. There is a playground for kids steps from the ocean. My nephews love going there too. The views of this city are breathtaking. It is a great place to spend a weekend just relaxing or and afternoon shopping.

Glamis sand dunes in Imperial County is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever been. When I originally heard about it I was not impressed I just thought it was a place for my husband to go with his friends, ride his quad and drink. The first time I joined him I was amazed at the beauty. At night you can see thousands of stars in the sky, shooting stars are abundent. During the day I was amazed at the sight of the sand dunes- they are as far as the eye can see. This place is a dirt bike riders paradise. Everyone there gets along wonderfully. There are no hook ups for camping but there is a store that has showers that you can pay to take down the road from Gecko road campgound. If you have an interest in dirt bike riding and have the opportunity to go, don’t let it pass you up. This place is wonderful Please if you do go, obey the rules, be safe (it can get dangerous off-roading) and try to leave the place a little cleaner that it was before you go there. The only thing interesting about Fontana is the steel mills and they are closed.

Although Corona is not a major city it does have it’s upside. In Corona you can live in a city, suburban or country neighborhood. There are great schools, parks and stores. There are many big name and small interesting stores for shopping. Great resturants. We have Tom’s Farm where you can get great fresh baked breads, pies, pizza, go on rides and listen to live music. You can do antiques shopping in Corona. You will find many hot rod cars and find countless stores to help you customize you car. Corona is close to many major freeways.
