I’ve been all around the city, shops, museums, etc., etc., but I didn’t get to partake in the famous Reykjavik Nite Life! Maybe I’ll get the chance this June/July when I go back to Iceland for 3 weeks.

In 2000 I drove through here on Hwy 1, but didn’t spend any time in the city. This June/July I’ll spend some time there – and am going to try and be up there for the longest day, June 21st.

Was stationed at the Nato base in ‘99 – ‘00 – as you can tell from all my other postings about Iceland, I REALLY love the place and can’t wait to go back this June/July for 3 weeks. I have to eat at Kaffi Duus and Olson Olson in Keflavik!!

I didn’t see nearly enough of this area in 2000, so will focus a lot on this place when I go back in June/July.

Keep this in mind: When you see a sign that warns you not to touch the water because it’s so hot – HEED THE WARNING—DON’T TOUCH THE HOT WATER-Ouch! :)

I’ve been to Gullfoss several times, and just my luck I never did get a really good photo op. I’ll be trying again this June/July!!

Had my first Icelandic ice cream here – best I’ve ever had!

...relaxing in the Blue Lagoon with the snow-covered lava rocks around and snow falling! We did this in Nov ‘99 – it was really beautiful. Will be going back this June/July and can’t wait to experience the Blue Lagoon again!

Was there for a year 1999-2000; didn’t want to leave but Uncle Sam had other plans. I’m finally going back this summer for 3 weeks!!! I can’t wait – It is such a wonderful place to chill out, enjoy the peace, waterfalls, fjords, hike, climb, and take a zillion photographs!!!!
