I went to Montreal with a youth group. One of the girls was fluent in French and wanted to show off. We went to a litle cafe near the water, she took all of our orders and when the waiter arrived, she proceeded to rattle off our requests in rapid French. The waiter stopped her and asked her if she spoke English!
