I’ve been pondering adding Madagascar to the list for a long time (well, two days – i just started).

A friend just reminded me of the number of interesting/different animals there are on the island, so i’m sold. It’s part of the character of islands, especially if they are some distance from any continent, because the local species had time to evolve. I can go from South Africa, i have friends who are moving there and i already want to go to Cape Town.

When i moved away (just across the Bay), i promised myself i would move back to San Francisco some day. Hasn’t happened yet. I know too many people over here now.
