Cesar Chavez Day.

I was in Sacramento last Friday. Unfortunately, it was raining so I didn’t get to see much, but I did learn two things.

1. Sacremento is one of the best thrifting towns out there. I spent about $50 & got some GOOD SHIT.
2. Joe’s Diner has the best bacon cheeseburgers on the planet. I couldn’t possibly tell you where it’s located, but it was amazing.

Wedding

I’ll be here in late May for a good friend’s wedding. WOOT!

Gram Parsons

Mission #1 in Joshua Tree National Park: To find the place where Phil Kaufman burned Gram Parsons’ body, & collect sand in a bottle (ie. “Gram’s ashes”) for a friend.

Spring Wildflowers

Last year’s wildflower explosion in Death Valley was amazing, I hear. I’m hoping this year’s will be comparable, because I actually have a really good camera now.

This is The End.

I’ll be back in New York this Christmas, & hope to finally make it out to “The End”. It’s been probably 10 years or more since I’ve last been out there.

Summer of '87

Spent about two weeks in & around the Grand Tetons in the summer of ‘87 & really really loved it. I’d ideally love to spend a month hanging out one summer, taking pictures & hiking.

Summer of '91

I spent three weeks in Germany with my parents & brother in the summer of ‘91, visiting my mom’s family in various places. It’s been awhile, though. I’d love to return someday soon.

Albuquerque

I’ve been to Albuquerque twice, driving through the state both times, but I’d really love to explore the state more thoroughly.

The city that grows on you

One of my favorite places (this coming from a guy who grew up in the shadow of NYC & currently lives in San Francisco). I went to USC, & lived in Cola for five years.
