This is one hotel I would love to stay in. My now-husband and I went on our first trip together to Las Vegas. During our trip we had a great dinner at Olives and then went to see Cirque du Soleil’s “O” and of course watched the fountains. It was one of the best nights of my life and when I realized he was really “the one” – so I have fond memories of this place.

We’ve been back to Vegas several times and we always stop by. The Sunday brunch is incredible. We’ve gorged ourselves several times there. “O” is a must-see. The last time we were there we saw a poker tournament and several of the big players. The fall festival display is something to see.

The Mirage is a nice hotel with a great location on the Strip. The rooms were nice and clean, staff was great, and we did pretty well in the casino. :) My now-husband and I fell in love on this particular stay in Las Vegas.

It was fun to stay on the Strip for our first ever visit, but it’s much more economical to stay off-Strip but close by. It’s convenient to have a car if you’re staying a ways off the Strip, but we felt it was unnecessary otherwise. There’s lots to see and do even if you aren’t a gambler, so don’t let that deter you! Signing up for the players’ clubs can be beneficial, so check into it. (We got great deals from Paris.) Dress comfortably and walk down the Strip to check out all the hotels and casinos. There’s great people-watching here too!
