Despite the t-shirts exclaiming “I got crabs at the Dollarton crab shop,” it’s really worth going for the fish and chips. They make fantastic cod, halibut or salmon fish and chips. The tartar sauce was replaced by a superior dill sauce.
And, the North Shore News reaches the height of its existence as the wrapper for your fish.

The Diefenbunker was built during the Cold War as the centre of government operations during a nuclear attack. Would the Russians ever think to attack Carp?
It was an operating military base into the 1980’s. Today, many of the areas are recreated as part of Canada’s Cold War Museum.
Although it got its nickname from Prime Minister Diefenbaker, Diefenbaker refused to ever visit because the military told him that (in the event of a nuclear attack) he wouldn’t be permitted to bring his wife.

I had a great time in Louisville. With a sleepy downtown and very friendly people, I wish I could have stayed a while longer and tried more bourbon.
Remember: it’s luavul and not leweyvil.
