I’ve been here twice. First, to visit friends in the summer of 2001, and then in the fall of 2002 for my honeymoon. One of the nicest cities in the US, with great restaurants and lots to see.
over 6 years agoWe’ll be in Uruguay for a week in November! Our plans include stays in Montevideo, Colonia del Sacramento and one night at an “estancia” which is like a dude ranch where we can ride horses and work on the farm. Can’t wait!
over 6 years agoI spent a few days here on business. Luckily for me, I’m in the wine business and got to visit some of the producers of Barolo, one of Piedmont’s most prestigious wines.
We stayed in the Hotel “Le Torri” which was a bargain at 80 Euros and the place seemed to be tourist-free in April. The restaurant “Le Torri” next door had an amazing Tasting Menu for 30 Euros which was an absolute steal.
Can’t wait to come back here with my wife!
