I went when I was young with my parents, and we traveled in style (good food, stayed at the gorgeous four seasons). Not sure I’d enjoy the city half as much on my own (slim) pocketbook, but I hope to try it out one day!

I went right before Christmas. It actually snowed and was colder than London, where I was living at the time. Lovely! ‘Feliz Navidad’ playing everywhere. Ride the funicular from the harbor to montjuic (where the Miro museum is). It’s a bit scary but worth it.

A beautiful little city, with an overwhelming amount of history, though a bit kitschy/touristy in places (unavoidable, really, in a place like this). I spent two days there and wish I had more time to explore the city and environs.

absolutely beautiful. the most serene cows. consider traveling along the canals.
