My husband and I finally took a honeymoon in San Diego 3 years after we got married. We had a great time. Because it was off season, it was much quiter and generally didn’t have to fight crowds at the many attractions in the area.

The Ocotillo area is an upper middle class bedroom community for Chandler. The largest employer is Intel. I live in the Ocotillo Lakes subdivision. This link shows most of the photographs I have taken in the area.

I’ve been to Highland Forest many times over the years. It is a beautiful place for hiking and cross country skiing. My mom had her 60th birthday party at the Community House.

I grew up in Syracuse and went to Syracuse University. Here are some tulips from my mother’s garden.

This weekend when we were in Bisbee, we passed by Electric Beer and I took this photograph of the sign, but we didn’t go in.

Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is fun to visit. There are ostriches and deer to feed. My husband won a bet with the proprietor a couple of years ago. He bet that an Ostrich egg would break if he stood on it, and it did. We ended up going to a dinner in Tucson with egg on his shoes. :) It’s a very friendly place worth a stop, especially if you’ve never seen an ostrich up close.

This is an action packed ride. Although the line is generally very long, the decorations along the way are entertaining and the ride is fun.

This is a cute, old-fashioned attraction that’s been around for years. It’s ususally easy to get in and worth visiting while waiting to get into one of the more popular attractions at Disneyland.

My husband I just stopped by this weekend on the way south. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities and would go back to go camping.

My mom has her winter home in Toyo Seco. I have visited a couple of times. It has a beautiful beach.
