I already answered my own question but here is another copy:

Boondocks at Fisherman’s Cove – The best! The lobster we got looked fake (no spots) but it turned out to be the best lobster throughout the whole trip.

Shore Club at Hubbards – Was a bit confusing to get there but food was alright. Dessert was superb, actually. So was the unlimited mussels. I think I want to go back for a large lobster someday.

Salty’s at Halifax – It was interesting. A bit pricy but definitely a nice view. I wouldn’t go back though.

Five Fishermen at Halifax – Pricy, again.. but awesome service and awesome selection! The place justifies the price it charges.

Hamachi Sushi at Halifax – I would NEVER go there… It was over priced and sushi didn’t taste that good. We ordered Toro, Maguro, Deluxe Sushi and bunch of other stuff. Slow service and sushi/sashimi wasn’t really that awesome. I have been to better (Ematei in Toronto, Okada Sushi in Vancouver to name a few.

Murphy’s on the water at Halifax – Again, it didn’t meet the hype. I heard good stuff here and online elsewhere but food really really sucked. May be it was my day but waiters were dropping glasses (shattered glasses right next to another customer, for instance) and food didn’t come out properly. Lobster didn’t taste good at all.

To sum it up, I would definitely go back to 5Fishermen and Boondocks… and perhaps Shore Club. I also found Fish and Chips in this region, where-ever you go, can’t be bad.

Okada Sushi and many other places…ah… Yup. I went to Vancouver for sushi and I don’t regret it! Tried my hands on fishing at White Rock for few days too… though I only caught ONE fish… and no crab… hahaha.

I didn’t get around much… no… that’s not true. I went around a lot of places but I missed out on night life.. oh well. Next time? May be not.. hehe.

I travelled up and down all over the place… taking trains and cabs… and I love it! It was beautiful everywhere. And I saw only one other Asian through out my whole trip while I was away.. haha.

I think I didn’t get whole lot out of HK, as much as I would like to have… perhaps few more days would have done it…

while I only stayed in Bangkok, I think I would love to go back there for islands and other ‘air conditioned’ locations… haha.

I love Toronto. For it’s diverse culture and food. You can have lots and lots of cultural food that you can only dream of elsewhere in the world.
