A must visit! We were traveling from California (drove from Spokane, Wa to Missoula) to pick up a friend and didn’t intend to stay but we absolutely loved it! It was early June and we arrived in the evening. The locals were wonderful and referred us to a great pizza place where we went next door to get beer that we could bring back inside. We walked around downtown a bit (it was chilly!) and met some local students who had graduated but didn’t want to leave. The next day we went to some downtown farmer’s markets and ate at a FABULOUS brewery where we sat outside on the second story. For you Californians…Missoula reminded me so much of San Luis Obispo but in the mountains. We will definitely return!

Spent two days here last summer while visiting Yellowstone (wanted to see some of Montana). It is of the more populated areas of Montana from what I understand. A MUST see is the Museum of the Rockies.

I will be visiting Montana for the first time at the end of June this year. I will only have about 2 days and will be in the Bozeman area. Any ideas? Also looking for a nice place to stay and some places to eat. I’d love to experience Montana’s beauty, though time is limited. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
