I lived in belgium for nine years before I came back to England (where I’ve been for 5 years now). I loved Belgium and although England’s nice enough I’ve never felt as good here as I did in Belgium. I lived in Wezembeek-Oppem to be exact.

Canterbury

Generally a very nice place. Interesting architecture and history and the high street has a good range of shops. The nightlife is alright but there are very few clubs and none of them particularly good. There are plenty of pubs and bars in the area, however none them are anything particularly special, but there’s plenty which are perfectly nice.

One heads up is that Canterbury tends to be pretty busy throughout the year because of the high street and the Cathedral, also I think it’s a sort of stop off point for people from the continent take a coach fom Dover to London.
