We stayed at the Icefield Chalet on our last trip, it has always been closed the times we have previously been to the glacier. We had a corner room with a view of the glacier. We took the ride out onto the glacier. Well worth staying a night and seeing the sun rise. The sheep are everywhere along the parkway around the chalet!

The lake was still frozen but it was very beautiful and the ride to the lake was fantastic. A must see in Jasper. We drove out there 3 times on our last trip.

The tramway offers a great view of the surronding mountains and the valley below. Stay on the main path because the snow covers some deep dips.
