My parents tried to make a life for themselves here when I was a baby. I don’t remember it, but would like to go back and see it sometime.

My wife and I stopped in for the lunch buffet today. It was very good. My wife also ordered her favorite appetizer which is paneer pakora. It was excellent.

We stopped here on a layover from San Antonio, and thought it felt much nicer. Lots of shops too. The terminals were a bit father apart than we expected though, which almost made us late for out next flight.

Living in Seattle, I have seen ads for Sonic for years and there have been no Sonic drive-ins anywhere that I have seen. The ads look sooooo good. So I convinced my wife to eat there tonight. The food was ok, but it was nothing special. The cherry-limeaid was pretty good as was the chocolate milkshake. My wife’s jr bananna split was melted when she got it. Over all it was not nearly as good as I expected.

Tonight my wife and I ate here for the second time in three nights. Both the mexican plate and the costillas are very good.

I had a Guinness and the fish and chips, which where huge and tasty. The three cheese dip appetizer was excellent as well. Though I didn’t have a mixed drink, the bar looked well stocked as well. I hope to go back for more.

South of Mendocino by half a mile or so; the view from our campsite was amazing and the price was cheaper than a bed and breakfast.

It was a great place to go walking, picnicing or whatever.

John Bidwell was actually quite an interesting historical figure. Of course the school would not be there without the Bidwells either.

Beer, burgers and cheesy fries :)

Not to mention a great place to stop between classes and spend a minute playing pinball.
