Copenhagen, Hovedstaden

Copenhagen was never high on my list of European cities I wanted to visit, but since I am studying in Oslo for several months, and Copenhagen is only a night-ferry ride away, I went. I can not express how impressed I was with this city! So much to do and see! I climbed the Our Saviors Church, went on a canal tour, posed with the Little Mermaid, walked Storget, visited the Royal residence, and drank beer at the Carlsberg brewery. Time flew by in Copenhagen and there is still so much left for me to do that I will definitely plan on returning- SOON!

If you are bored....

It was a fun stop on our cross-country road trip. Very kitsch- but with the right group of friends- this is a fun stop to stretch your legs!

Basel, Basel-Stadt

Loved it!

An unexpected trip, but the only train we could get out of Paris was headed to Basel. Turned out to be the best place we visited during our backpack across Europe trip. Out of the way, non-tourist saturated town. It was great!
