Why I recommend this place to visitors
WOW!! So much history nestled in some of the most gorgeous mountains you’ll ever see… can’t beat the sunsets around there, either!

The Meteora is simply breathtaking… there are no words to describe it! Seeing it is truly a supernatural experience.

The Agora is simply wonderful. It’s a great place to go for a walk in the morning in Athens, before it gets really hot outside. The three days we stayed in Athens, every morning we would get up and buy these big, juicy navel oranges from a fruit stand in the Plaka and then walk through the Agora eating our breakfast and looking at all the fallen columns, giant statues, and imagining what it all used to look like centuries ago. The Agora is filled with big, red poppies… it’s beautiful!

-Get a copy of “Walks Around Betws-Y-Coed.” Llyn Elsi hike is the best.
-The pubs close early, so don’t wait until late to eat!
-You MUST visit the Fairy Glen!
-If you like seclusion, take the bus a few miles down to Dolwyddelan… you may find yourself all alone in the castle, which is a really cool feeling.
