Worth visiting!
If you want to do a (safe) shark dive, go to Underwater World here in Mooloolaba. My kids did it! Scared me though. You actually dive in the Aquarium. The sharks are grey nurse sharks – my kids loved it!!

I visited Fraser Island in the most awful weather. It was August 2005 and it rained and rained and was so cold which was a shame. It’s still a beautiful place though and I want to go back on a sunny, hot day. I stayed at the Outrigger Resort (lovely but quite expensive) in Hervey Bay. Visited Torquay Beach the day after Fraser Island and it was warm and sunny with pelicans walking up and down the beach. Amazing.

Sydney Aquarium was OK. A little tired perhaps. Could do with a face lift. Darling Harbour was pretty amazing. Stayed at the Novotel with stunning views. Monorail is great to get around on. Harbour tour fab. Nicks Seafood restaurant good – but pricey. You must visit the QVB (Queen Victoria Building). Beautiful – great shopping, live music. I’m going back ASAP.
