This is one of the world’s most cool cities that has an enormous amount of culture: pop, anti-pop, artsy, liberal, thought-provoking, festive. Not only that, the rent here is incredibly cheap compared to other major world cities. The city is geographically larger than Paris, London and New York combined!..Yet has only 1/3 the population of any of those cities.
Probably the only reason I’m not living there is the lack of work opportunities in my particular background.

fun town, great beer. The town is lively in general, at least compared to most other german cities. The accent can be heavy at times though. Please just remember though (since I’m german), don’t think all of germany is like this. This is just a big famous city with its own subculture in the south.
