Phoenix

Worth visiting!

Ode to sunshine

I moved to Phoenix in June of 2005 and let me tell you, holy cow it was hot. I mean I moved here knowing that it was a desert and there would be heat, but wow. The good outweighs the bad for Phoenix, in my opinion. What I consider to be good is the sunshine, all the different thigns to experience and the mix of all sorts of people. That bad parts are the traffic, the snobs (especially in Scottsdale), and the poverty that seems to stand out (but I guess you find that everywhere).

New Orleans

Amazing

What an amazing town this was. I say “was” because I don’t know what will/has become of it after hurricane Katrina. For the longest time I wanted to move here, it’s just so much fun. I hope to go back some day, especially if it every manages to go back to the way it was.

Michigan

Not worth visiting!

Not worth it's salt

I lived here for 19 years of my life and I can tell you from personal experience that its not that special. There’s alot of water. There’s alot of snow. There are some pretty areas and some fairly decent people if you’re in the right area. I mean I love the place to death and I always will but to visit, it’s really not all that.

Sault Ste Marie

A fun college town

I lived here for almost a year and it was prolly one of the best years of my life. That being said, it really doesn’t have much to offer. It’s cold and doesn’t even get that warm in the summer. The locks are neat, but cmon, how long can you spend looking or even riding through the locks? One plus to this town is it’s right on the border of Canada and the drinking age there is 19. And if you live in the Soo that’s what you spend your whole winter doing.

Mackinac Island

Interesting

Growing up in Michigan you’re bound to take your fair share of field trips to Mackinac. Maybe I would be more captivated by it now that I’m older and wiser (ha ha). But as a young teen I found it about as boring as they come. However, the scenery is beautiful and the fudge is yummy. My favorite part was prolly touring the fort and the gorgeous horses every where you look.

Florida

Worth visiting!

Fun times

We always went to Florida for spring break and it was always fun. The only things that I didn’t like were the slow drivers (could it be all the old ppl!, j/p) and everywhere was always packed. It could be that we went to mostly tourist areas and during high school spring break time. But nonetheless it was always fun.

Fantastic Family Fun

I went here when I was prolly about 14 and had the time of my life. I can’t wait to go back.
