Phoenix, Arizona

Ode to sunshine

I moved to Phoenix in June of 2005 and let me tell you, holy cow it was hot. I mean I moved here knowing that it was a desert and there would be heat, but wow. The good outweighs the bad for Phoenix, in my opinion. What I consider to be good is the sunshine, all the different thigns to experience and the mix of all sorts of people. That bad parts are the traffic, the snobs (especially in Scottsdale), and the poverty that seems to stand out (but I guess you find that everywhere).

Amazing

What an amazing town this was. I say “was” because I don’t know what will/has become of it after hurricane Katrina. For the longest time I wanted to move here, it’s just so much fun. I hope to go back some day, especially if it every manages to go back to the way it was.

Not worth it's salt

I lived here for 19 years of my life and I can tell you from personal experience that its not that special. There’s alot of water. There’s alot of snow. There are some pretty areas and some fairly decent people if you’re in the right area. I mean I love the place to death and I always will but to visit, it’s really not all that.
