There are probably better places to go in Mexico, but this was as far south as we could get without a passport!

Don’t forget your hiking boots and your camera! It’s fantastic! For a real treat, go all the way to the end and catch the tram to take you up to Gimmelwald. It’s a trek, but you will feel like you’ve walked into another time!

Bring your camera and order a Heidi Cocoa when you get to the top!

Why do only 6 people want to go here!? Everyone should want to go here! This place is paradise for hiking in the fall. Nature at its best!

Allow A LOT of time for this city, because you just can’t possibly do it justice if you go too fast. We only spent about 5 days total and I only feel like I got a glimpse of it. Definately need to go back with more time. And more money!

Visiting Dresden was a powerful experience. The damage from WWII is still so visible that it made history seem so much more real to me. Especially after seeing the church, I felt a great deal of guilt that I hadn’t felt before about being American. It really knocked me down a notch, which I think we all should experience.

Beautiful! And I hear that it inspired the Disney version of Cinderella’s castle. We went in the autumn, so all the trees were turning orange, too, which was a neat touch.

Especially to learn more about WWII and to drink some BEER!!! Our experience at Oktoberfest was pretty unique… we went with friends we met in Italy who had worked in “German town” at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida. The whole happy group we were with was wearing Disney-style leiderhosen as they partied!

It’s impressive, but if you’ve already been castled-out or have seen Versaille recently, then it probably won’t do a lot for you.

Amazing! We went on a really great walking tour that told fascinating info about WWII. The Jewish Museum was an emotional and architectual marvel. And the wall… whew. Take your time in Berlin. It’s heavy.
