Rumor has it that I’ll be going at the end of July…

Going in May! Only for a couple days, though; enough time to see Amman and Petra and that’s about it. Then it’s off to Israel for a friend’s wedding…

Copenhagen is one of the prettiest cities I’ve ever seen. I’d also recommend the island of AEro (that’s with the A and E together and a slash through the o – can’t find the proper characters at the moment).

Well, some of them. I have the (almost free on miles!) trans-Atlantic legs taken care of. The rest of it will consist of some combination of RyanAir, EasyJet, and Sterling flights. The plan: Detroit-Gatwick, transfer Gatwick to Stanstead, Stanstead – Glasgow, few days with friends there, Glasgow – Stanstead, Stanstead – Malmo, bus to Copenhagen, wedding there and travel with friends through Denmark, Copenhagen – Gatwick, Gatwick – Detroit. Two weeks, three or four airlines, six airports, four countries. No problem.

It’s on! I’m invited to the wedding, sent in my RSVP, and now only have to wory about how I’m going to pay for it. Because now it does look like I won’t be working until mid-August at the earliest…

I might have a place to stay in Amsterdam in May!

Too bad it’s only been for a couple of days, and I leave tomorrow morning. But I have to come back. Even in February it’s gorgeous, and I’ve only seen a bit: Paisley, Glasgow, Stirling. I’ll see if I can’t get back this summer…

Just found out a friend of mine is getting married in Copenhagen in August! Now I just have to a) get myself on the guest list, and b) make sure I can get that time off. Or just not start working until the middle of August. Alas, I don’t think that’s reasonable.

Got my tickets, now I just have to figure out what to see in a 2.5 day trip…and when I’ll have a chace to come back to see the rest!

I got laid off, so I have time to add on to that trip to Ireland in February!
