absolutely incredible….everything from the volcanoes, rain forests to the amazing greens everywhere. People were super friendly….always a plus. Most of the time spent in San Jose would have loved to get out and do more.
over 4 years agoSpent time in Managua back in mid-nineties. You could still see shrapnel on the buildings from the wars. Still it was a beautiful nation. We went to Bluefields on the east coast of Nicaragua and this was a quaint and fun place as well.
over 4 years agoI spent time in Nuevo Loredo, below Texas doing community service projects. It was sad to see so much poverty but the kids were wonderful, so anxious for love and attention. It was an impacting trip to realize how much most of the world has in comparison to those who do live in sheer poverty.
