I was there for just a day on a school trip about four years ago. We drove past Bourbon Street and took about 2 hours on the Riverwalk for lunch and a little shopping. I know it will be different after all the recent hurricanes, but I still want to go back and see it again.

Wow. Just, wow! I was only there for a month, and that was in and out between the cities and the jungle itself, but it was amazing! I want to go back someday. Just be sure that when you go, you take plenty of bugspray. They have repellant-resistant mosquitoes, big, black, bloodsucking flies, and chiggers anywhere there is grass.

I went on a trip to Columbia, but we travelled into both Peru and Brazil. The forests are beautiful, and you will see some of the most amazing plants and animals. This place was so amazing! If you get the chance, definitely go!

I’m from Alabama. True, some parts are not so great. But we have some beautiful areas too. Oak Mountain State Park up near Birmingham is a fabulous spot, especially in the spring or fall.

C’mon, folks. Every place has its good and bad places.
