Taqueria Del Sol

Worth visiting!

it's worth the wait

the hours are dumb (they close at 3, I think, and reopen for dinner), but the tacos are so yummy and cheap. Be ready to wait in line to order-the longest I’ve had to wait was 30 minutes-but once you sit down, the food arrives in 5-6 minutes.

If you like guacamole, try some at taqueria! Seriously, some of the best guacamole in Atlanta.

Pura Vida

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: tapas

if you like spanish or latin cuisine (think tapas!!) then definitely try this place. Get a reservation, stroll around Virginia Highlands and see what other cool restaurants you want to go to, and enjoy the divine tapas.

Flying Biscuit

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Even though it’s now a chain (owned by the same people who own Moe’s I think) Flying Biscuit is still delicious! The best one is in Little 5 points, but the one next to Piedmont park is good too. Either way, the people-watching is great! The food in the Buckhead location is still mighty tasty, but the atmosphere is not quite the same…think preppy people serving you as opposed to tattooed and pierced servers. One of my all time favorite restaurants.

I recommend the High Flyer or the Veggie Scramble. And get the grits over the potatoes! mmm I love the cran-apple butter that comes with the biscuits…
