well worth a day or two’s visit…from old town to the ultra modern artes y ciencas, we had a fabulous time!

i lived in hoboken for two weeks before moving into nyc. the area was great—good bars, pedestrian, markets on the weekends, and easy access to the city.

We went skiing for the weekend in Western Mass—stayed in a small town with a bowling alley and V. cheap PBR pitchers:0) the slopes were great, the town was quaint, and the hotel was lovely.

So Winter time in Iceland was INCREDIBLY worth it. The weather was cold but not unbearable, car hire and hostels were cheaper, and the scenery was stunning. Plus, we got an amazing view of the Northern Lights which you can’t see in the middle of the summer.

Definitely worth the money!

great hiking trails around the loch. go when there are less people; the boat traffic was insane. there’s also a nice little pub on the way in/out of the loch—great hot drinks when you’ve gone hiking in the rain or wind.

go inside urquhart castle and watch the video. i’m not generally a fan of the videos, but there’s a v. beautiful scenery/surprise at the end that makes it worth it.

The mountains are so beautiful and the hiking is spectacular. it’s definitely a place to get away from the typical schedule and commune with nature/other people who appreciate it as much as you might.

hotter than hell…but the Okeefenokee Swamp brings back good memories.

Cedar Point=great roller coast park. Cincinatti’s nice too. Everything else is just a tad bit bland…and the state takes FOREVER to drive through.

Brass Monkey=best pub with moroccan style giant bed and movie screenings at 3pm daily.
